This is Laurie Howell with "The GreenScene" and I'm going to tell you how to make a natural oven cleaner for less money than that chemical stuff you're buying at the store.
Forget about chemical oven cleaners. Try this homemade recipe from www.greenlivingnow.com
You only need four ingredients: Borax, distilled white vinegar, water and Dr. Bronner's Castile Soap, which you'll find in your local natural food store.
Mix two teaspoons of Borax, four tablespoons of white vinegar, two cups of water and an eighth of a cup of Dr. Bronner's Castile soap.
Spray this homemade cleaner into your oven ... all over the oven walls and floor. Then, cover the wet surface with baking soda and follow with a second layer of your homemade cleaner. Let that sit overnight and wipe clean in the morning.
